ACB wins “Strongest Bank in Vietnam 2010” award

The Asian Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB) has won the award for “Strongest Bank in Vietnam 2010” from the Asian Banker magazine.

This is the first time the Asian Banker magazine has granted such an award to a Vietnamese bank.

In the meantime, ACB’s General Director Ly Xuan Hai has received the magazine’s “Leadership Achievement Award in Vietnam 2010”. This is the second consecutive time Hai has won the award, the first one being in 2007.

The Asian Banker strongest bank rankings are worked out using a number of quantitative and qualitative indicators. They include the best bank’s network and trademark in its domestic market, a strong commitment to domestic customers at product and service levels, a strong governing structure at both board and management levels, the ability to execute strategy and respond to changes in the marketplace and a stable and long term commitment to all shareholders.

The award is issued every three years.
