In 2018, Bau Bang district’s agricultural production value was estimated at more than VND1.91trillion, up 5.17% compared to 2017.

The whole district now has 302 farms on cultivation and animal husbandry, including 14 with VietGAP certificates. There are 4,119 cows and buffalos, up 4.15% against 2017 and more than 2.09 million fowls, up 5.17% compared to 2017.

Last year, district-based slaughtering houses worked very stably. The district’s functional agencies regularly made inspection tours over the transportation, trading of animals and their products at markets, thereby discovering and penalized 40 wrong cases with a total fine of VND52.3million.
