In 2017, Bau Bang district’s agricultural production value was estimated at more than VND1.82billion, up 5.12% compared to 2016.

The whole district is now home to 303 farmsteads, comprising of 13 on cultivation and 290 on animal husbandry. There were 3,955 cows and buffaloes, up 22.9%; 225,628 pigs, up 1.5%; more than 2.4million heads of poultry, up 0.66% compared to 2016.

Through inspection tours on the situation of transporting and trading animals & their products at markets, the district’s functional agencies also discovered and handled 66 cases with a total fine of more than VND45.5million.
