Binh Duong province has so far absorbed nearly 150 projects from Japanese investors with a total capital of more than US$1.4bln. Noticeably, Japanese- invested projects herein have seen robust growth both in quantity and quality. There are now lots of Japanese investment projects with the big size and high technology flowing into the province. For example, Kubota Vietnam Co.Ltd.’s combine harvester and ploughing machine-producing plant has capacity of 15,000 ploughing machines and combined harvesters a year.

Many other big projects with high technologies are Kirin Acecook Vietnam Co.Ltd.’s US$60mln fruit-juice bottling plant in the My Phuoc 2 Industrial Park; Iwai Plant Tech Vietnam Co.Ltd.’s US$20mln plant producing production lines for processing industry in the My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park; Key Plastics Co.Ltd.’s plant making products for the medicinal, chemical and cosmetic sectors in the Vietnam-Singapore II Industrial Park…In terms of Binh Duong’s business climate, Makabe Hirotaka, General Director of A&M Industry Vietnam Co.; Shiji Fuchigami, General Director of Hotta Vietnam Co.Ltd.; Morita, General Director of Showa Gloves Vietnam Co.Ltd. said that Binh Duong has good industrial infrastructure, facilitating investors’ development. They have also spoken highly of the province’s attention and assistance to investors.
Many Japanese businesses making investment in Binh Duong have also paid more attention to laborers’livehood via incentive policies. Yazaki Eds Vietnam Co. and Acecook Vietnam Co. are two typical examples for this. The two companies have so far carried out a lot of incentive policies on housing, allowances…for their workers
It is obvious that thanks to having a favorable business climate, Binh Duong has become an attractive destination for Japanese investors in Vietnam.
