A party to welcome delegates of the Horasis Asia meeting 2018 themed “Rising Vietnam” was held at Becamex hotel in TDM city’s Phu Hoa ward on the evening of November 25.

Speaking at the party, Tran Van Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation highlighted achievements done by the province after 30 years of national renewal. Vietnam is now an important and reliable partner of 130 countries and territories around the world. So far, Vietnam has absorbed 26,500 valid FDI projects with a total registered capital of more than US$334billion. The level of Vietnam's economic openness measured by registered imports and exports is quite high, at over 200%. In 2018, Việt Nam was at the 45^th place among 126 economies over the world in the GII report 2018 and ranked 77^th out of 140 countries in the latest Global Competitiveness Report. Along with the above common success, Binh Duong has boosted cooperation for socio-economic development, improving capacity for integration and competitiveness in the international arena. The province has carried out a project on smart city building to enhance its scale in the region and world.

Through co-hosting the Horasis Asia meeting 2018, Binh Duong wanted to get cooperation opportunities with partners in the region and the world for socio-economic development.
