Over the past years, the Party Committee, the People’s Committee of Binh My commune in North Tan Uyen district boosted the implementation of the “State and people work together” movement, hastening the progress of rural infrastructure construction, contributing to reshaping the local rural image.

North Tan Uyen district’s Binh My commune today has created a lot of changes. The street to the center of the town is expanded with smooth asphalt together village paths covered by concrete. Over the past time, the commune mobilized all resources to build its rural traffic infrastructure system. This task received enthusiastic response from the local people. They donated land, crop plants to constructing rural roads; made contributions to carrying out 6 rural lighting lines, meeting the local people’s demand for traveling and promoting the local economy.

So far, there have been 13 inter-communal streets covered by asphalt with a total length of 17.5km or 100% of total together with 51 hamlet-level streets with a total length of 35.462km. They are upgraded annually, facilitating the local people’s travelling.

Le Dinh Quang, Chairman of Binh My communal People’s Committee said that the communal People’s Committee has instructed the local relevant units to prepare for annual plans to upgrade the local rural streets while conducting hamlets to frequently clean up alleys, plant ornamental trees, flowers, ensuring a green-clean and nice scenery, improving the lives of the local farmers.

Mr.Quang added that the local results done in rural infrastructure construction  over the past time helped Binh My be recognized as a new-style rural commune in 2015, contributing to the local socio-economic development. The average income of the local people has so far reached VND65million per person per year. In the coming time, the commune will continue maintaining and improving the quality of criteria on new-style rural construction towards a modern, synchronous socio-economic infrastructure system. The commune is calling for enterprises and locals to join hands in perfecting the local necessary infrastructure system for socio-economic development.
