Nguyen Van Thien shares is opinion about the development prospects of the water industry in 2023-2025

Consumption of water was more than 135 million cubic meters or 74% of the plan in 2022, increasing by 5.5% compared to 2021. Consumption volume of manufacturing customers in the third quarter decreased by 5.7%, However, domestic water consumption still grew steadily. Water loss rate of 5% is the lowest water loss figure of Biwase since its establishment thanks to the application of effective technical and management solutions so that businesses can easily regulate and stabilize the water loss and determine the output pressure on the network. It is forecasted that industrial zone water demand will return in the fourth quarter of 2022, helping water supply to grow again to meet 100% of the plan in 2022.

Nguyen Van Thien - Chairman of Biwase's Board of Directors, said that in order to achieve the set goals, Biwase has accelerated the expansion of the water supply network in Bau Bang and Chon Thanh of Binh Phuoc. Potential for customers in Minh Hung Industrial Park of Binh Phuoc is a capacity of 5,000 cubic meters that Biwase purchased from Binh Phuoc Water Joint Stock Company to be complete and put into operation in the near future. In addition, the great potentials at water plants in Can Tho and Gia Tan of Dong Nai invested by Biwase also bring many development prospects. Besides, the waste and waste treatment segment increased by 10%; fertilizers, and cemetery gardens every year are forecasted to contribute to ensuring stable growth, and bringing efficiency to investors.
