The trademark of Minh Long 1 porcelain is now too famous for its hi-grade products. Most of the ‘made in Binh Duong’ products have appeared on all dining tables at five star hotels. However, little known that the trademark’s owner must struggle with numerous difficulties to create the trademark.

Vietnamese culture creates soul of porcelain

Minh recalled ‘I wish to create a beautiful and significant tea set. Porcelain product’s outside part is called frame and decoration part called soul, but I want both frame and soul parts highlighting Vietnamese culture character. In 1995, I started producing hi-grade porcelain products’.

To create unique porcelain products, he arrived in China, Italia, France, Germany, Japan, Korea to seek idea for his products. Till 2000, after a 5-year search he formed up a new idea as seeing a water jar that is very close to Southern people.

Descendants of the Dragon and Fairy

He searched decorative patterns on ancient pottery products and suggestions of 2 scholars of Tran Quoc Vuong and Cao Xuan Pho to make up a unique tea collection named Son Ha Cam Tu. The collection set’s pattern and style show Vietnamese culture and soul.

With initial successes, clients around the world know about Minh Long 1 Co’s porcelain products.

Another work named Vietnamese Dragon Cup with the height of 650mm and width of 225mm is valued as a masterpiece of pottery art. The work’s pattern is painted by gold by the company’s most skilful painter and the appeal of ‘For the poor’ and signature of chairman of the Central Fatherland Front Committee Pham The Duyet is drawn on the masterpiece.

He realized a common character of life and people in every nation that he came. Thenceforth, a set of porcelain products named soul of Vietnam has been produced and appeared across families. This shows that images of temple, banian tree remain attractive.
