Chairman of Provincial Party Committee: Binh Duong Province is ready for sharing obstacles
September 26, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Cung host a seminar on Korean investment into Binh Duong Province with participation of representatives from sectors and agencies of the province, General Consulate of South Korea in Ho Chi Minh City, Association of South Korean Enterprises in Binh Duong Provice, together with investors from South Korea conducting investment projects in the locality.At the seminar, Director of Department of Investment and Planning, Mr. Mai Hung Dung, on behalf of Provincial People’s Committee, introduced socio-economic status of the province as well as policies and decisions of foreign investment luring in Binh Duong Province. Up to date, South Korean enterprises have invested into 495 projects at the cost of USD 1.7 billion or 23.6% of total FDI projects in Binh Duong Province. Meantime, representatives of South Korean enterprises highly appreciated investment conditions in Binh Duong Province and raised up some problems caused by misunderstanding of policies in customs, taxation, training and using labor forces.Responding to the requests of South Korean enterprises, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee called upon leaders of departments of taxation, customs, labor-invalids-social affairs to resolve the problems emerged.Addressing the seminar, Chairman Le Thanh Cung highly appreciated practical proposals of the enterprises, helping the authority to resolve the problems barring enterprises from optimal operation.
