On February 15, provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development held a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Vietnam Organic Trade Promotion & Communication Center on the Provincial organic agriculture development project, period 2020 - 2030.

Accordingly, cooperation content includes: Coordinating the implementation plan of the organic agriculture development project in the 2020 - 2030 period of the province according to value chain production and product consumption; Connection in trade promotion of agricultural products, organic agriculture and digital transformation solutions; Counseling, training and transferring scientific and technical advances, production and business models along the value chain of organic agriculture; Participating in and organizing seminars, fairs, preliminary and final reviews on organic agriculture; Orienting the  main organic development; Participating in and organizing domestic and foreign trade promotion activities with organic agricultural products; Communicating on guidelines and policies of the Party, State and Binh Duong province on the orientation of organic agriculture development; Cooperating with press agencies to raise  producers and consumers' awareness of organic agriculture and organic products; Connecting to form a consumption chain of organic products in the province...

At the signing ceremony, Pham Van Bong, Director of provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, said that the MoU is the legal basis to jointly coordinate and promote programs to develop organic agriculture in Binh Duong. The province's agricultural industry is expected to lead the country in organic agriculture, bringing the agricultural industry to a new level in terms of safety and environmental protection.
