In 2018, Dau Tieng district received an public investment allocation of VND273 billion 401.8 million, of which capital invested by the province was VND229 billion 156.8 million, new rural construction program’s bonus capital was VND7 billion. and the district budget was VND37 billion 245 million. The district actively balanced revenue sources of to increase investment capital of VND20 billion 320 million, in which supplementing capital for the Management Board of district investment and construction projects with VND100 million and supporting 12 communes and towns with VND20 billion 220 million.

In order for the investment capital to be efficient, the district asked investors to improve their accountabilities, strengthen the management of investment capital; only start the construction of projecs with capital allocation. At the same time, the district promptly removed difficulties in investment procedures to accelerate the construction progress, disbursement progress of capital construction investment right from the beginning of the year... on the principle of prioritizing capital allocation for completed works, then to transition projects. Regarding new projects, the district prioritized projects of nationally standardized schools, canals and transport works for production and people's life, environmental protection projects, and urban renovation projects. Tran Di Nhue, Director of Dau Tieng District Investment - Construction Management Board, said to ensure the progress and quality of projects, in addition to timely implementation of procedures, capital disbursements, the board also selected qualified contractors for these  projects. In addition, the inspection and supervision of construction works was focused. In addition to the target of completing existing projects as scheduled, the district gathered resources for new key projects.

In 2018, disbursement of capital construction investment in Dau Tieng district was estimated at VND273 billion 402 million, reaching 100% of the year plan. Right from the beginning of the year, the district People’s Committee actively implemented synchronous solutions, including focusing on site clearance, creating clean grounds for projects. With the motto "The goverment and people work together", the district actively propagated and encouraged people to participate in the infrastructure construction. As a result, many families in the district donated lands, dismantled themselves many works and assets on their land to create clean grounds for projects, especially national targeting projects invested by communes, urban renovationg projects. As a result, capital construction projects in the district were completed as planned.

To guarantee disbursement would meet the plan

In 2019, it is expected that the public investment fund of Dau Tieng district would be VND205 billion 728 million. Nguyen Cong Danh, Vice Chairman of Dau Tieng District People's Committee said that on the basis of targets and plans for public investment, in 2019 the district would define the objectives and priority order of projects; capital allocation for new projects must be really urgent and meet all prescribed conditions. The district will also prioritize three communes Long Hoa, Minh Hoa, Thanh Tuyen and Dau Tieng town so that these localities will be able to build and upgrade infrastructure in order to become class- 4 and class-5 urban areas; At the same time, allocating fund for the implementation of improved new rural criteria in 4 communes Thanh An, Long Tan, Dinh Thanh and Dinh Hiep.

According to Dau Tieng district People's Committee leaders, in order to complete the disbursement plan in 2019, the district continues to direct functional branches to well implement the disbursement of allocated funds. In particular, leaders of the district People's Committee asked functional agencies to focus on key tasks such as: Strengthening inspection, supervision and urging on the progress and quality of transition projects; promptly fulfill procedures for construction investment of projects with new construction plans in 2019 in accordance with regulations.

The district People's Committee also directed related agencies to settle quickly and effectively problems of land acquisition and clearance; encourage households and individuals to strictly abide by the State's regimes and policies to hand over lands to investors according to plans; regularly urging contractors, mobilizing materials and personnel to carry out projects, and make payment dossiers according to the prescribed time...
