In this year, An Lap Rubber Plantation under Dau Tieng Rubber Company is the first unit among 11 rubber plantations of the company winning goals 25 days ahead of schedule. As of Dec. 6, 2011, An Lap Rubber Plantation implemented over 2,000 tons of latex, winning over 100% of its plan. Expectedly, till the end of this year, the plantation will surpass 230 tons of latex, equaling 10.7% of yearly plan.

Tran Thi Minh Chanh, director of An Lap plantation, said despite abnormal weather and other disadvantages, the plantation still wins the proposed targets. On average, the plantation’s workers enjoy an income of VND7.5mil per capita per month.   

Aside from An Lap plantation, some other rubber plantations such as Ben Suc, Minh Tan, Phan Van Tien and so on complete their plans ahead of schedule. Tran Van Du, vice general director of the company, said the company’s goals are likely to gain and surpass the proposed plans in this year.

The entire company has won 33,000 tons of latex, reaching over 87% of yearly plan and reaped US$136.09bil in turnover as of the end of November.
