Most of facilities of Dung Quat oil refinery resumed operation on January 13 following a 20-day shutdown for addressing technical problems, said the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group – PVN today January 15.
According to PVN, the refinery is now operating at 60 percent of its capacity and will work in full swing from January 21.
The Dung Quat oil refinery is expected to import five million tonnes of crude oil and produce and sell over 4.75 million tonnes of oil of different kinds this year.
Leaders of Dung Quat oil refinery are trying its best for operation by issuing over 70 regulations and safety procedures, especially relating to fire fighting and prevention, explosion and human recovery in case of emergency.
