Electricity-saving products become attractive to customers

Customers have begun thinking more about electricity-saving measures when the price of electricity has increased by 15.3% amid the current escalation of the prices. Hence, electronics manufacturers have constantly launched a lot of products with electricity-saving technologies for customers.

 Saving 60% of electricity

 Since early March, the domestic electronics products and electrical appliances market has got animated with a series of new products launched, especially those with electricity-saving technologies at customers’ demand. Many home appliance manufacturers have launched advanced products that are capable of saving 40% or 60% of electricity.

 Binh Duong-based big centers for home appliances, namely Trung Thao, Thanh Loc, Phuong Hong…have got flooded with electricity-saving products. Many appliance home manufacturers, such as LG, Panasonic, Samsung… have launched into the market products using inverter technology with capacity of saving 40% or 60% of electricity energy, including air conditioners, washing-machines…

 With the above impressive indexes for saving electricity, saving-electricity products have become more attractive to customers. Nguyen Phuong Thao, a resident in Thuan An town said that she has just bought a Panasonic washing machine with inverter technology, helping save 70% of water and 50% of electricity…

 Opportunities for customers

The domestic electronics products and electrical appliances market has seen boom on electricity-saving products and customers have also become more concerned about these products. This is also the chance for home appliance suppliers in Binh Duong.

Currently, Binh Duong has a lot of home appliances using inverter technology with the prices that are considerably reduced and are only several hundreds of dong to over one million of dong higher than those using normal technology. At the Trung Thao home appliance center, Panasonic air conditioners with inverter technology are sold between VND6mln and VND7mln per unit…

Nguyen Thi Gium, owner of the Trung Thao home appliances center said: “Buying and using electricity-saving products now becomes a new trend of customers in Binh Duong. We have invested a lot of electricity-saving products for our trading and the demand for these products is very great. This is also a good thing, showing that customers have managed to select an electricity-saving measure in the current difficult period. Hence, we always try to meet the local customers’ demand for electricity-saving products”.
