Enterprises in industrial parks accelerate production

The Covid-19 epidemic has basically been controlled as production and business activities in the province are returning. Up to now, more than 90% of enterprises in industrial parks are speeding up the recovery of production and business operations. Solutions to support and accompany businesses are being quickly deployed by the provincial Management Board of Industrial Parks.

Proactive hardship overcoming

Affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, the growth of many businesses in the province's industrial zones was lower than the same period in previous years. However, the business community has been proactive to uphold the spirit of overcoming difficulties and make efforts to adapt to the situation and maintain production, trying to stabilize jobs for employees.

According to Mr. Jack Xu, General Director of Motomotion Vietnam Co. Ltd. in My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park, the impact of the epidemic made the company's revenue in 2021 fail to meet the set plan. Previously, following the direction of the provincial People's Committee, during the quarantine period, the company carried out "3 on the spot" production with more than 1,000 workers. “In the difficult context, provincial departments, agencies, and branches, especially the provincial Management Board of Industrial Parks, have promptly directed, effectively coordinated and quickly supported so that businesses would soon recover production and export. Up to now, the factory is increasing its operating capacity under the "3 green" model. In the remaining months of the year, the whole company is rushing to speed up the progress, use many new trade methods and find many export orders," said Mr. Jack Xu excitedly.

Entering the period of economic recovery, businesses are still facing many difficulties in terms of capital, labor resources, raw and production materials. However, in order to maintain production, enterprises in industrial zones have actively planned to recruit new employees, issued preferential regimes, and created favorable conditions for employees to return to work with peace of mind.

Following the plan of the province, the Management Board of Industrial Parks of the province has been closely coordinating with relevant units and localities to synchronously deploy solutions to remove difficulties for businesses. Mr. Bui Minh Tri, Head of the provincial Industrial Park Management Board, said that following the direction of the government and the province, the Management Board is implementing measures to remove difficulties for businesses to restart operations after the epidemic is well controlled. In which, the Management Board continues to support foreign-invested enterprises to bring experts and workers to the working areas and speed up the injection of 2nd doses of vaccines for workers as well as helping businesses recruit workers.

Safe adaptation

According to Mai Ba Truoc, Director of Department of Planning and Investment, up to this point, Binh Duong has gradually been transitioning to "safely adapting, flexibly, and effectively controlling the Covid-19 epidemic". In the province, many timely policies have been extended to support businesses and workers affected by the epidemic. In addition, the province is speeding up the implementation of the vaccination program, which is a decisive solution for the process of economic recovery, stabilizing people's lives, and contributing to economic growth.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai, General Director of Sonova Vietnam Company in VSIP 1, said that even while the epidemic was still complicated, the company determined to maintain operations at all costs. For signed export contracts, the unit must ensure not to cancel the contract. Besides, the business has made efforts to expand and find new orders. Therefore, now the company has basically overcome the difficulties and is planning to increase the number of employees and expand the production scale.

Mr. Bui Minh Tri, Head of the provincial Management Board of Industrial Parks, said that with many active supporting solutions of the province and efforts to overcome difficulties of enterprises, production and business activities in industrial parks in the area remain stable. In order to create favorable conditions for businesses and investors in industrial parks of the province, the Provincial Management Board of Industrial Parks continues to coordinate with relevant units and localities to regularly survey, grasp the situation of difficulties, thereby, giving specific instructions to thoroughly solve and create favorable conditions for enterprises to soon and fully restore production and business activities.
