Despite the impacts from Covid-19 pandemic, enterprises in province-based industrial parks (IPs) have made efforts in maintaining stable production-business, ensuring their sustainable and long-term development.
Representative of province-based IPs’Management Board said that there are now 1,972 enterprises operating in IPs under the Management Board. Despite the impacts from Covid-19 pandemic, the Management Board has drastically disseminated provincial Party Committee’s resolutions and provincial People’s Committee’s plans for socio-economic development, national defence-security among officials, civil servants and labors since early this year. Upon this, most enterprises in the IPs have so far maintained production and development in accordance with the set orientations.

These enterprises have been proactive to take measures against Covid-19 pandemic under the guidance and control of the local healthcare sector in order to stabilize their production-business. In the face of the complicated development of the pandemic, the Management has also further disseminated preventative measures such as wearing masks, regularly washing hands by soap or hand sanitizer, checking body temperature… among enterprises and laborers. As surveyed, most enterprises herein have seriously carried out regulations against the pandemic, ensuring their production-business.
Many enterprises in province-based Ips, namely Proctec &Gamble Vietnam Co.Ltd., Masan Joint Stock Co., Asia Food Co., Perfetti Van Mele VN Co.Ltd., A Chau Food Joint Stock Co., Highland Dragon Co.Ltd., Scancom Vietnam Co.Ltd., Sanaky Vietnam Co.Ltd.…have gradually stabilized and maintained their development…They have concentrated on strengthening production-business with appropriate business plans and strategies, including those for seeking domestic material resources, developing new orders, increasing working shifts when there is the shortage of laborers…
Bui Minh Tri, Head of province-based IPs’Management Board said that since early this year, the operations of enterprises in the IPs have continued being maintained with FDI attraction reaching US$622million or 54.27% of the year’s plan and FDI capital implemented by enterprises at more than US$1.05billion or 59% of the year’s plan … China, Hongkong, Singapore, Samoa, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan were the highest investors among countries and territories making investment in the IPs over the past time. The Management Board has attached special importance to administrative reform, facilitating enterprises ‘development.
With the above efforts, it is believed that the operations of enterprises in the IPs will be stabilized soon, ensuring sustainable and long-term development. According to the Management Board, the province’s Covid-19 prevention and control have been implemented very well. There were no cases of Covid-19 infection reported in the province, thereby helping enterprises and laborers keep their mind in production-business…
