Despite facing adverse weather conditions, Vietnam expects to export 7.1-7.4 million tonnes of rice this year.

Rubber exports to the world market, especially China and Malaysia, are likely to hit 830,000 tonnes and earn US$ 3 billion as Vietnam has expanded its rubber acreage by 40,000 hectares.

Vietnam may also fetch up to US$5.7-5.8 billion from seafood exports this year, including US$ 2 billion from tra fish.
