Pursuant to Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development's Circular No. 14/2016/TT-BNNPTNT specifying areas, establishments for disease safety, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development signed the decision to certify 4 districts of Binh Duong province, North Tan Uyen, Phu Giao, Bau Bang and Dau Tieng district, to be safe and well control of poultry diseases, namely, Avian influenza, Newcastle on chicken. These decisions are effective from 26 February 2018 to 26 February 2023.

Tran Phu Cuong, Director of provincial Sub-Department of Animal Health, Veterinary and Aquatic Resources, said that the certification would be a good condition for the organization of animal production for export. Once the province controls diseases actively and effectively, it will minimize the cost of disease prevention and treatment, thus increasing economic efficiency in livestock. Livestock products from certified farms will be easy to trace its origin, consolidate consumer’s belief in product quality.
