The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Union on March 6 ahead will present the “Golden Rose” Awards to outstanding businesswomen. The move is the center of ‘the national week on Vietnamese women 2010’ organized for the first time to celebrate the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day lasting from March 6-8 at Ha Noi and HCMC.

The Golden Rose Award is to recognise the outstanding achievements made by excellent businesswomen who represent thousands of businesswomen in the country.this year will have 100 awards for excellent women to mark the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day, instead of 36 prizes as previous years.

The highlights of the national week will include a photo exhibition on Vietnamese women, forums, fairs to display the products and services of Vietnamese businesswomen and ceremonies to celebrate the 100th anniversary of international women’s day (March 8).
