JICA to support PPP in Binh Duong Province
Chair of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem had a working reception with working delegation of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) regarding the issues related to Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in implementing projects in Binh Duong Province.Representative of JICA, Mr. Oyama Tomohide, an officer in charge of Private Sector Investment Finance (PSIF) informed that PPP was the State and private sector cooperation to implement projects of developing the socio-economic infrastructure to supply public services, bringing benefits to both the State and the public for making good use of private finance.In Binh Duong Province, JICA shall implement support for water supplying and releasing projects of BIWASE.Addressing the working session, Deputy Chair of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem was for PPP negotiation to seek out general agreement upon projects of JICA in Vietnam and in Binh Duong Province.As for the provincial authority, BIWASE shall become head of accessing to PSIF.Reported by Hoang Minh – Translated by Vi Bao
