The preliminary report of the first 6 months of 2021 of provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment shows that, the department continued to coordinate with Department of Planning and Investment in formulating the provincial planning according to regulations; urged Department of Planning and Investment to provide documents to make plans for land allocation and zoning; coordinated contents related to the formulation of land allocation and zoning plans in parallel with the formulation of the five-year land use plan (2021-2025) of Binh Duong province that was assigned by Provincial People's Committee. The department continued to urge localities to complete the formulation of land use planning for the period 2021-2030 at district and city levels.

In addition, the department also advised Provincial People's Committee to promulgate adjustments and supplements to the list of works and projects on land recovery and change of land use purpose for rice cultivation in 2021; submit the investment policy and land allocation, land lease, change of land use purpose for organizations to Provincial People's Committee for approval; strived to no longer have unsold documents, late for appointments, 99% of dossiers to be resolved on time. To take next steps for the implementation of three projects: Investigate and evaluate land quality and land potential for the first time in the province; survey and assessment of soil pollution for the first time in the province; survey and classification of agricultural land for the first time in the province; complete and report to Provincial People's Committee to submit to Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment the results of land statistics 2020 in the province according to regulations.

In addition, the department also continues to urge units to send reports on the project implementation on strengthening the management and use of public land fund to submit Provincial People's Committee. Continue to provide advice on draft decisions and regulations related to the allocation and lease of small and narrow land parcels directly managed by the State; separate land areas managed by the State, agricultural land used for public purposes etc. alternating in projects into independent projects. Issue a plan to inspect the compensation and site clearance work in nine districts, towns and cities. Appraise and submit to Provincial People's Committee for approval the compensation, support and resettlement plan for construction projects in the province within the authority of People's Committee of Binh Duong province.
