Binh Duong has over years lifted its capital for cow and buffalo herds up to VND299bil, offered loans for over 17,800 households. The number reached and exceeded the entrusted goals. Overall, investment capital sources for the program are used effectively.

In the face of epidemic diseases, the society in cooperation with local Center for Agricultural Promotion and Veterinary Bureau… held 516 training classes with the participation of 23,000 people.

Nguyen Tan Dinh, said the biggest result of the program is to meet farmers’ aspiration and job placement for rural laborers, helping local residents improve their life. As a result, hundreds of households have escaped poverty.

In the coming time, the society will set out measures to boost the program and focus on cow and buffalo development in the northern districts.
