Ministry of Industry and Trade has just organized a ceremony awarding the title of people’s artist to 4 individuals including Ly Ngoc Minh, Chairman of BOM and General Director of Minh Long 1 Ceramics Corporation.

The artists conferred and awarded the titles this time are those who have a lot of enthusiasm and dedication to the profession, special skills and know-how in designing and processing techniques to produce handicraft products of high economic and artistic value and imbued with the traditional cultural identity of the nation, representing the cause of preserving and promoting the value of local handicrafts that are admired and honored by colleagues and the masses, representing 27 unique and sophisticated traditional handicraft products.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, more than half a century of working with pottery, artist Ly Ngoc Minh has improved many traditional pottery-making techniques and combined them with modern production technologies to produce unique products of highly applicable uses.  Products from Minh Long ceramic enterprise have created their own spirit of the nation and are favored by high-end markets around the world.
