From loving salamander

Located at a small alley in quarter 9, Phu Loi ward, Thanh’s small farm is under completion. His first animal is salamander. Unexpectedly, from his friend, he realizes economic value of breeding salamander. He said that this animal’s meat is more delicious than chicken’s and has a high price. Besides, this animal breeds easily with a plentiful source of food.

After one year of breeding the animal, he now has thousands of salamanders. At present, this animal is priced at VND370,000-400,000 per kg.

To bamboo rat, snake

Bamboo rat breeding is very difficult but Thanh develops this animal easily. On average, a couple of bamboo rate is priced at VND800,000-1mil. Bamboo rate gives birth 2-3 times per year.

At present, Thanh is possessing animals with high economic values. Like salamander and bamboo rat, he seeks out ways to breed Ptyas mucosus effectively. He now has over 200 Ptyas mucosuses. This animal is priced at over VND1mil per kg. A female Ptyas mucosus can lay 10-20 eggs. To actively offer food for the animals, he breeds a species of worm from Thailand. This worm has also a high price.

And wish of making wealth

The key animal in his farm is the very Ptyas mucosus. He has received many orders but he can just meet several orders.

Over years, his farm has lured countless visitors. He willingly shares experiences with those who intend to breed these animals. If he breeds 400 couples of Ptyas mucosus successfully in next year, he will reap over VND1bil.
