 The Vietnam Industry Construction Group (VNIC) will soon carry out many electricity projects including the Nam Chien, Xeekaman3, Bac Ha, Ngoi Hut, Supan 3, Tra Xom, and Nam Khanh Hydroelectric Power Plants.

This was announced at a VNIC conference in Hanoi on January 21.

 Especially, the Group will also conduct a feasibility study into the construction of a 300-MW thermal power plant in Hai Phong and a 2,400 MW Long Phu 2 Thermal Power Plant in Nghe An province.

 Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister of Construction Cao Lai Quang said the group should focus more on key hydroelectric power projects to ensure the construction tempo.
