On Dec 16, provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment held a conference to summarise activities of natural resources and environment branch in 2020. Mai Hung Dung, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, attended the conference.

According to report of Department of Natural Resources and Environment, in 2020, the department solved 3,664 applications for first land use right with 3,332 certificates; carried out inspection, appraisal, and took over 427 cadastral copies with corrective measurements for land compensation, clearance and acquisition, corresponding to 238 dossiers. In addition, the department implemented land compensation, supported resettlement for 16 works, including 7 works under state budget capital and 9 works under enterprises capital; completed disbursement to 76.7% works under budget capital; and disbursed VND 221,855 billion to works under enterprises capital.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Mai said that in recent years natural resources and environment branch had made important contributions to socio-economic development of the province, land revenues contributed greatly to provincial budget revenue. He also urged that natural resources and environment branch continued to improve apparatus, deeply study proposals; focus on the reform of administrative procedures combined with information technology on digital platforms; resolutely handle wrong scrap collection establishments, prevent environmental pollution, fire and explosion.
