According to North Tan Uyen district’s Division of Economics, the district is now home to 62 farms on animal husbandry, comprising of 30 operating under the closed, cold farm model. These husbandry models have brought about high economic efficiency and attracted the involvement of the local people.

The district is now home to 1.67 million heads of poultry together with 1,653 buffaloes, cows and 41,861 pigs. The district has issued many documents directing the implementation of vaccination in poultry and cattle. In addition, the district’s specialized units have been active and proactive in avian flu prevention and control in 2021.
