According to Binh Duong Electricity, the power cut schedule has conducted twice a week, despite heavy rains. It is expected that tension of power provision will ease by June. On May 3 alone, 11 transformer stations in Ben Cat district were in power cut, making many enterprises face many difficulties.

Some businesses in My Phuoc and Song Than IPs, said though Binh Duong Electricity gave advance notice of the power cut schedule, enterprises could not take initiatives for production, owing to long holiday.

To solve this status, many businesses have to hire electric generators to cater for their production.
