In 2020, the internal difficulties and limitations of the economy and natural disasters and epidemics, especially Covid-19, have a direct impact on the nation's agricultural production. African swine fever has been controlled but the the possibility of new outbreaks persists.

By the striving effort and under high determination of the whole political system and the concern of leadership and drastic direction of the government, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Binh Duong provincial Party Committee combined with the proactive in the management and administration, the support of the people and the efforts of all economic sectors in general, the province's agricultural production has still achieved positive results. Accordingly, the production value of agriculture, forestry and fishery has increased by 4% compared to 2019. The coverage rate of forest trees and perennial trees reached 57.5%.  The rate of rural population using hygienic water reached 100%; in which, the percentage of households using clean water meeting national standards is 88.9%.
