According to provincial Labor Union, province-based businesses have resumed work after the Tet holiday. At many businesses with a large number of laborers, there have been 90% of laborers coming back to work. More than 20,000 laborers who have not resumed work yet after the Tet holiday. Source from trade union locals, province-based businesses now need 35,000 or 40,000 laborers.
Nguyen Van Lam, chairman of Ben Cat district’s Labor Union said that the number of laborers coming back to work after the Tet holiday in the district has only got around 80%. Currently, the district-based businesses need more than 10,000 laborers.
