Province’s retail revenue up 1.9%

According to provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the province’s total retail sales revenue of goods and services in the first nine months of 2021 was estimated at more than VND187.95 billion, an increase of 1.9% compared to the same period last year. Over the past 9 months, the province effectively implemented a program to stabilize the market, stockpile goods, and promptly provide essential food and foodstuffs for people in difficult conditions, due to the pandemic, especially those in the "red zones". The province’s market management, fight against trade fraud, fake and poor quality products was also strengthened. The local market control force inspected 444 cases, discovered 323 violations (accounting for 72.4% of total), collected and paid VND 3.1 billion in fine to the State budget.

Currently, the province is gradually reopening economic activities, recovering production and business under the principle of ensuring safety. Provincial People's Committee has also directed sectors and localities to monitor the stockpiling and supply of essential goods of enterprises participating in the local market stabilization program, opportunely serving people’s needs.
