Early July 26, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received IRWIN Lee, CEO of Universal Robina Corporation of the Philippines.

Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee welcomes IRWIN Lee, CEO of Universal Robina Corporation of the Philippines.

At the reception, Mr.IRWIN Lee sincerely thanked provincial leaders for their efforts in creating favorable conditions for URC Vietnam Company to work effectively. The company is under Universal Robina Corporation, one of the top food and beverage producers of the Philippines. In Vietnam, there are 5 URC factories, including 3 at VSIP 1 and VSIP2-A in Binh Duong with a total investment capital of more than US$100million. In 2017, the corporation’s total revenue in Vietnam surged 25%.

Mr.Liem spoke highly of the URC project in Binh Duong. The number of investment projects from the Philippines in the province is still modest, so he wanted that Mr.IRWIN Lee will popularize Binh Duong’s investment climate, helping the locality absorb more investors from the Philippines.
