In 2021-2025, Binh Duong continues to improve housing quality to meet the needs of all population groups, especially policy beneficiaries and to develop green, clean, and modern housing so as to protect the environment and contribute to promoting socio-economic development of the province towards smart urban development.

In particular, the province continues to develop commercial housing and accelerate the development of apartment houses in compact urban areas in the southern region of the province. In addition, the province will implement the management and use of 20% of land fund in commercial housing projects and new urban areas to build social housing to increase the proportion of apartment buildings in housing development projects in urban areas by 30% with the rate of rental housing equal to 8.5% of the total additional housing area in urban areas.
