Retail and service turnover increases 18.5%

According to the General Department of Statistics, the local consumption index in Aug. increased 0.41% compared with the previous month and rose 4.3% from the same period last year.

Overall, market price in Binh Duong had no changes. Specifically, groups of apparel, hat, footwear gained the highest increase index of 0.86%, gastronomy service increased 0.85% and other service at 0.05%.

 

Conversely, groups of accommodation, electricity, water, energy and building material reduced 0.01% while group of transport item declined 0.07%.

 

In the past month, the total goods retail and service turnover in the province reached more than VND8,500bil, a 1.3% increase from the previous month.

 

The total goods retail and service turnover in the first eight months of this year gained VND66,288.6bil, an increase of 18.5% compared to the same period last year.
