According to the local plan for 2021, Di An city has further focused on the application of science and technology in production and people's lives. Particularly, the city will give priority to agriculture and rural field, implement projects on environmental protection.

The city’s functional units have continued supporting and guiding farmers to make production under VietGAP standards on fruit trees; promoted models on economic cooperation for consuming productions and supporting production. Up to now, the city has maintained the value of agricultural production compared to the plan amid  the local area for ​​agricultural production land narrowed. The city is now home to about 420 hectares of farm land, down 260 hectares.
