Whilst, retailers have implemented a series of promotional programs with 50% discounts on products. Some have launched new products and services; opened many integrated outlets, absorbing more customers to experience new business forms.

According to the assessment of provincial Department of Industry and Trade, this year, there will be more people staying Binh Duong for Tet than the previous years. Province-based supermarkets have implemented some business strategies, given priority to diversifying products with high quality. The rate of Vietnamese goods in each group is increasing. As planned, from now to the Tet festival 2021, producers and businesses will further cooperate to deeply decrease the prices for essential commodities.

Sharing with customers

Over the past time, provincial Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT) worked with supermarkets, trade centers and some mobile points selling goods with prices stablized to grasp the local situation of purchasing power, goods resource and prices for essential commodities.

Provincial DoIT predicted that the prices of essential commodities for this year’s Tet holiday will increase by 10%-20% compared to the previous Tet holiday. Representatives of some supermarkets, trade centers said that they have prepared a large volume of goods to ensure adequate supply during the Tet holiday. Many units and big enterprises in the province have pledged to guarantee supply of Tet goods with price stabilization. Localities have also implemented goods selling points with prices stablized; organized mobile sales trips to remote and rural areas.

Whilst, Vietnam Joint Stock Company’s South branch has commited to ensure adequate supply of pork, processed food, poulry meat and eggs and for Tet. Ho Van Binh, Deput Director of provincial DoIT also saind that enterprises have pledged to make stablization sale for pork. Thus, the selling prices of pork under provincial market stablization program will be lower than those of the same products on the market by at least 5%-10%…
