According to the People’s Committee of Tam Lap commune in Phu Giao district, the commune’s agro-forestry-fishery production value in 2020 obtained over VND710billion, up 4.5% compared to the same period or 15% of the year’s plan. The proportion of cultivation accounted for 78% of the local economic structure while animal husbandry occupied 22%.

Particularly, the commune’s total area for various annual plants was 157.8 hectares while total area for perennial trees was 4,248 hectares, up 302 hectares against the corresponding period. The whole commune had a total of 60 animal husbandry farms with 126,378 heads of cattle, up 13,593 and there were also around 1.42million heads of poultry. Currently, Binh Duong Agricultural Joint Stock Company controls over more than 5,683 hectares of forest area for production in the commune, comprising of 3,931 hectares of rubber trees, 569.4 hectares of cashew trees, 42 hectares of rubber trees, 179.64 hectares of fruit trees…
