Early July 9, Tan Uyen district’s Party Executive Committee held the 21st conference to approve the local socio-economic performance in the first half of 2010 and design orientations and tasks for the rest of the year.

In the first half of the year, the district’s industrial production value reached more than VND2.347 trillion, increasing by 20.06% compared to the corresponding period of last year and getting 45.57% of the projection. The district’s implementation of the industrial park and compound projects was also very effective.

In terms of basic construction, the district’s capital disbursement reached 67% of the projection. The agricultural and forestry production value herein also obtained more than VND431bln, up nearly 4% compared to the same period last year…

For the rest of the year, the district will further give support to investors to hasten the implementation of compensation and site clearance for the industrial park and compound projects approved; team up with the province’s functional agencies to remove businesses that have caused environmental pollution from residential areas…
