According to Tourism Development Plan of Binh Duong Province up to 2020, with vision towards 2030, Tan Uyen is chosen as a place to develop waterway ecotourism tourism, weekend destinations with Bach Dang and Thanh Hoi isle.

Accordingly, Tan Uyen town selected 2 communes of Bach Dang and Thanh Hoi to develop high-tech agriculture in association with the development of eco-tourism combined with sightseeing, connecting with tourist attractions, such as nation-level monument Turtle Isle, Bach Dang pomelo garden, Tan Trach temple, Do Cao Thua ancient house, Vinh Loi war zone, Mekong Golf & Villas eco-tourist zone... The objective to the year 2020 is to serve over 40,000 visitors to Tan Uyen, create jobs for local people in tourist development zones and sites. It is expected that by the end of 2019, there would be 2 - 3 new travel routes put into operation.
