According to Binh Duong provincial Department of Industry and Trade, in 2021, the province strives to achieve a total retail sales of goods and service revenue at 16% increment compared to 2020. To accomplish this goal, the industry coordinates in building and effectively implementing the action plan, taking actions and breakthrough on the development of high-quality service industries in association with industrial and urban development towards civilization and modernization.  At the same time, trade promotion programs, exploitation of domestic market, well stabilization of the market, stimulation of consumer demand, and well exploitation of e-commerce are promoted.  Industry and trade department will actively organize dialogues and meetings with associations, commodity industries, and investors to solve problems and issues of production and business operations.

In 2020, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, the trade and service activities of the whole province have still been maintained at a fairly good growth over the same period.  Specifically, the total retail sales of goods and service revenue was estimated to have increased by 12.3%. The average consumer price index for the whole year was estimated to have increased by 3.21%.
