In order to implement the market stabilization program, Thuan An town People's Committee directed functional units to closely monitor market progresses, the supply and demand of goods, especially essential goods in the area. The town People's Committee also asked units and agencies to focus on propagation, monitoring market developments to timely regulate supply of goods to serve the people. In addition, the town People's Committee also directed related branches to strengthen food safety, check price listing and price declaration; promptly prevent trades of banned goods, contraband goods, fake goods, poor quality goods and commercial frauds in order to protect consumers.

In Thu Dau Mot City, according to Market Management Team No. 1, due to its specific location, the city has many large supermarkets, so goods sources are always abundant. On occasion of Lunar New Year 2019, big supermarkets in Thu Dau Mot City preserved plentiful goods, which is expected to increase by 12-15% over the same period in 2018. These units basically maintaining the price of essential goods, reducing intermediary costs, lowering production costs for enterprises not to suffer from losses, ensuring that prices would be reduced by 5-10% compared to market prices from time to time.

To ensure food safety

Currently, units participating in the market stabilizing program in the province make good preparations, namely stabilized goods were signed with suppliers since Nov 2018 . By this time, total amount of stabilized goods for Tet holiday has been fully prepared in warehouses.
