Sang said that she has been working in Binh Duong for three years, every year she goes back to her hometown to celebrate Tet and visit her elderly parents. Workers who returned to work on time received 300,000 VND New Year's greetings from the company. All employees returning to work were tested for Covid-19. Similarly, as of February 10, Apparel Far Eastern Vietnam Company (VSIP 1) had nearly 4,400 employees returning to work, reaching the rate of 84%.

Enterprises soon stabilize production

According to the Management Board of Binh Duong Industrial Parks and Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs Office of districts, towns and cities, on February 8, the number of businesses resuming operations reached about 81%, the number of workers returning to work reached about 72%. Namely, the rate of enterprises located outside industrial zones resuming operations was about 79%, the rate of employees returning to work reached 70%; the rate of enterprises in industrial zones resuming operations was 82%, the number of employees returning to work reached 73%. According to the forecast of Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, workers returning to work at enterprises (after February 18) would not have a big change in the number of employees (less than 6% of employees do not return to work at their old enterprise), this will create favorable conditions for enterprises to stabilize production and business. To gain the above result, the province has been implementing well regulations and laws on labor and employment.

Besides, enterprises have well implemented policies on salary, bonus, welfare regimes according to regulations, well taken care of workers' lives, organized New Year celebrations, gave lucky money. In addition, working style has been increasingly improved, which has contributed to bringing workers back to work according to production plan of enterprises.

On occasion of the Lunar New Year 2022, in order to promptly encourage trade union members and workers to overcome difficulties, strengthen commitment of workers to enterprises and Binh Duong, the Provincial Labor Confederation proposed and was approved by the Provincial People's Committee the policy of giving gifts to 21,859 workers having extremely difficult circumstances with a total expenditure of nearly 12 billion VND.

The grassroots trade unions paid support for 639,013 union members and workers with a total cost of VND 191 billion 703.9 million.
