According to Economic Office of Thuan An City, over the first quarter of 2021, industrial production value of the city was estimated at VND 60,600 billion (fixed price 2010), increased 6.13% YOY and reached 24.36% Resolution's target. Namely, domestic enterprises' production value was estimated at 18,200 billion VND, up 4%YOY, accounting for 30.6% total industrial value in the area. Value increases happened in industries, such as food and beverage, footwear, garment, wooden furniture, metal products. Namely, FDI enterprises' production value was estimated at 42,400 billion VND, up 7.07%YOY, accounting for 69.4% total industrial value in the area.

It is known that electricity consumption over first 3 months of the year in the city was estimated at 678,157,204 Kw/h, an increase of 0.52% over the same period last year. During the quarter, Thuan An City synthesized a list of agencies, branches and unions to devise and register electricity-saving plans in 2021; made a list of 110 agencies, branches and unions participating in the Earth Hour campaign. Thuan An Electricity, People's Committees of communes and wards intensified the inspection of the safety corridor of high voltage grid.
