In the context that Binh Duong is still at the peak stage of implementing Directive 16 of the Prime Minister to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic, many businesses still persist in safe production by implementing "3 on the spot", which is a great effort of the business community in the province with the determination to both strengthen disease prevention and control and not to disrupt production activities.
With the view not to break the production and supplying chain, the province has assigned departments, branches and localities to regularly inspect and supervise Covid-19 prevention and control and maintain production at manufacturing enterprises and businesses in the area. The province's motto is to only allow businesses to operate when meeting the requirements of Covid-19 prevention and control according to the "3 on the spot" or "1 route, 2 destinations" options. Currently, in the province, about 1,885 registered enterprises are residing with a total workforce of about 272,000. Businesses have also established 10,864 Covid safety teams at their businesses.
However, the negative effects of the Covid-19 epidemic have also hit businesses hard. In fact, in the province, many difficult businesses have been forced to stop operating or reduce labor. But, with the determination to effectively fight the epidemic and ensure economic development and social security, the province is still trying to overcome difficulties by many scenarios and specific solutions to proactively respond to all situations, unite and strengthen responsibility so as not to disrupt production activities and keep the market.
In order to accompany and timely share with businesses to overcome the Covid-19 epidemic not to break the production chain, the province is taking measures, solutions and remedial processes to suit the epidemiological situation, reality and capacity of enterprises both to ensure safety for disease prevention and control and to produce and trade in accordance with actual conditions. In the coming time, the province and the "green zone" localities will select a number of pilot enterprises to organize production according to the model of workers of one company in the same safe accommodation location and when entering they are tested and screened according to regulations. Regarding production organization, it must be ensured that the hostels must be "green" (free of the Covid-19 epidemic); the workers must be "green"; andthe factory must be "green". At this time, the government, businesses and employees need to unite to soon fight the epidemic, strive to realize "dual goals", and maintain production and business growth at the highest level.
