In 2016, provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DoNRE) continued strengthening administrative reform, application of information technology into management work at enterprises and locals’ needs; made site clearance for 168 works on protecting and improving the quality of the environment with a total value for compensation amounting to VND1.3trillion.

The province also paid attention to revenues relating to activities on natural resources-environment. As a result, the sector’s total revenue in 2016 was more than VND4.6trillion.
