On May 14, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan, Deputy Director of Department of Transportation, informed of stable transportation pricing in the locality as the fuel price has increased by VND 2,000 a liter ever since May 5.
In the matter of 10 days as the fuel increased in price, no transportation enterprises have announced their price increasing. The cause should be the continual reduction of fuel price, preventing them to make any change to transportation pricing.
Department of Transportation and Department of Finance issued notification to transportation enterprises in the province regarding the market prices to prevent the price hike and ensure sanctions against those of abnormal price hike.
