Early May 17, provincial Department of Industry and Trade held a council to select typical rural industrial products at provincial level in 2016, which was presided over by Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee. Also attending the event were representatives of sectors and departments in the province.

Among 30 products recommended, 24 belonging to groups of fine arts and crafts; agricultural, forestry, and aquatic product processing; machines and tools; mechanical parts and others were selected as provincial-level typical industrial rural products in 2016. The council also sorted out 16 products to attend the 2016 “regional-level typical rural industrial products” selection.
