According to Binh Duong Electricity Company, the whole province in July, 2020 saved 25.7 million kWh of electricity. The figure over the past 7 months was 183.5 million kWh of electricity or 58.8% of the year’s plan.

As of late July, the province’s total output of commercial electricity was 7,784 million kWh or 52.4% of the Southern Power Corporation under the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN SPC)’s plan, up 1.38% compared to the same period last year. Of these, the output of electricity for industrial production surged 0.4% compared to the corresponding period last year…

*On August 28, Phan Thanh Lam, Deputy Director of Binh Duong Electricity Company said that the company’s staff have actively responded to the appeal by the Ministry of Information-Communications and the Ministry of Health for the installation of the contact-tracing Bluezone app on smart phone. So far, nearly 99% of the company’s staff have actively installed the app for Covid-19 prevention and control.

It is known that the EVN SPC has had a total of around 21,000 staff with the contact-tracing Bluezone app, contributing to improving the effectiveness of Covid-19 prevention and control.
