 Phu Giao district’s Farmers’ Society forwarded the 2nd conference highlighting outstanding farmers between 2005 and 2010. Accordingly, there were 41 farmers awarded the title of “Outstanding farmer in production and business” during the time.

Over the past five years, the “Outstanding farmer in production and business” campaign was implemented deeply and widely among the local farmers, bringing them considerable results. The district’s Farmers’ Society also teamed up with relevant agencies to organize 1,419 training courses on sci-tech advancements for farmers; cooperated with the district’s Bank for Social Policies to disburse over VND82bln in loan for them. Through the annual selection, there were 23,013 farmer households getting the title of “Outstanding farmers in production and farmers”.
