Nguyen Van Phuc, director of the Eastern International University (EIU) project said, after over 4 months of launching, the project has so far completed 80% of its progress for the 1st phase. At present, the work has continued building 4 remaining buildings to put into use by June 2010.

From Sept. 2010, the university will officially recruit 500 students for majors of electrical technology, IT, business administration, and automation. Located at Binh Duong New City on an area of 26ha, the university will be a key university of the province and the Southeastern region.
